TechCrunch has reported on some new changes to Instagram Stories!
📌 Users can add clickable URLs to Stories, which will open an in-app browser via a “see more” button.
📌 Users can be @-mentioned in Stories
📌 Users can add a Boomerang video in a Story without creating it in the Boomerang app first.
The clickable URLs seems like it’s clearly aimed towards professional creators. I can easily see people using this feature to direct people to an eCommerce site, or to content on the creator’s website, if the user is a media outlet.
